I spent a fascinating morning at Sheffield Forgemasters for The Sunday Times last week. They make massive components for nuclear reactors, the castings that tether oil platforms to the sea bed and much more. Unfortunately there was lots of sensitive stuff I couldn’t photograph. I had to keep an eye on my gear as cameras have been known to melt here. The full story and digital slideshow are in today’s edition.
